JOB DUTIES:
-Develop and implement sales processes and integrated systems, providing a means for highly effective measurement, reporting and accurate forecasting;
-Analyze sales reports to identify the highest value drivers to increase sales;
-Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability;
-Ensure the sales strategy is in close alignment with company strategic priorities;
-Research market analytics to merchandise vehicles to achieve maximum turn of inventory;
-Attend and purchase pre-owned vehicles in an auction based on market analysis and prior historical data;
-Utilize sales and acquisition software to maintain strategic inventory levels;
-Direct and coordinate sales activities and service accounting;
-Manage all pre-owned vehicles from acquisition (purchase, trade in etc) by determining an exit strategy for retail purchase or wholesale transaction;
-Prepare and approve budgets and budget expenditures;
-Expedite a reconditioning process to maximize efficiency of vehicle turn rates;
-Ensure dealership meets its used truck unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly and yearly basis;
-Ensure the retail and fleet units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis.
REQUIREMENTS: 2 years experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Director or related.
